Based in Spain, Pedro was born in Argentina where he started fishing when he was five years old, accompanying his father and brothers through rivers and lakes. He traveled Patagonia for years fishing for trout and salmon and the northern rivers catching the great Golden Dorado. After moving to Barcelona 20 years ago Pedro began his experience in the Mediterranean Sea, spending a lot of time fishing for his favorite species, bluefin tuna, and Amberjacks.
Pedro masters the best techniques according to the season, which allows him to obtain catches throughout the year. He has captured bluefin tuna in different ways, highlighting the capture of a great Bluefin tuna with on fly gear.
Currently actively participates with scientific studies tagging tunas throughout the Mediterranean Sea.
A lover of travels to tropical destinations, he also spends his days fishing for GT, Red Snapper, Napoleon and whatever tropical fish he finds on his way. He dreams of a great Napoleon on Popping and we are sure he will achieve it someday!
