Nicola Vitali is the leading guide at WildSeaExpedition. He grew up on the river fishing for Chubs and Barbs before he started to explore every corner of his home mountains looking for secluded tiny creeks with Trout. After that, he started spinning and fly fishing after Wels Catfish, and eventually his passion brought him to start traveling abroad to explore new fishing styles, new destinations and chase new adventures.
He was among the first to fish in Yemen and Sudan where he discovered a huge potential for sport-fishing, guiding trips in Socotra Island for giant GT and buying an old steel catamaran in Sudan to run fishing cruise for Popping and Fly Fishing, and setting up the base of WildSeaExpedition, which grew up for the next 10 years.
He set up destinations in the Red Sea and Gulf of Aden in Sudan, Eritrea, Djibouti and Yemen, on Popping, Jigging and Fly Fishing, and he is exploring new grounds also in Perù for Arapaima, Gabon, Andaman, Madagascar, Venezuela, and Indonesia.
